tried my hand at writing some gothic (?) horror (?) for this months writing piece 1/3

"I wake up and drink my coffee and I definitely don't feel young. There is no formal education, only dedicated self study. There is no hierarchy. There is just me looking after me, in a tired, strangled, gasping way. There is me and I am holding my own hand. Dragging myself up that hill. Most days I'm not sure that I would choose to look after me. I would like to give up and scream that I can't, it's too difficult, it's easier to let it all slip. But, there is no choice. I have me and I am holding my own hand. Today I woke up and I drank my coffee and ate my sandwich. Ready to drag myself up that hill."
