This was another water splash project that we had done with Chris. We tried a few different methods to create different types of splashes. The idea was to create the splash that happens at the bottom of the box, but not to cover the box so it obscures the logo on the box. The box was mounted onto the rig that moves vertically and slammed onto the water surface. In order to have more control over where the splash happens, we combined the effect using compressed air.
The box used here is also a specially made one with the weights inside so that it does not wobble with the water splash happening around it. It was also made water proof to endure being in water for a long time. The project with Chris is always very interesting, there also is a behind the scene video that I am going to share later!
