And I think for a guy like Boyd, whenever there isn't structure in the universe, his world is chaotic. And so we talked, you know, at length about what [Season 2] would look like for Boyd. And Graham Yost had just the greatest idea that Boyd is just numb. And he's wandering in the desert. And in some ways wants to get as low as he possibly can. So he ends up working in a mine. And you can't get much further underground than working in a mine. And so, from there, you know, hopefully the phoenix will rise[...] And I think this very guarded, very intellectual guy will let all of that down, and all of his kind of measured behavior will melt away, and you'll see, kind of, who he is as I see who he is, as the writers see who he is. We don't know. We're just figuring it out, you know? And it's really exciting when you can stumble upon a character that you just have no idea what they're gonna do.
