Unusual Word Headcanon Prompts #1
Infandous: What topics will they refuse to speak about?
Thace won’t talk about a lot of things, or at least not without being pressured. If he is pressured into talking about something he won’t complain like a whelp would, but instead be very mature about it. There are plenty of topics he never likes to indulge himself in: Deep details of his kills, unspeakable things he’s seen on the battlefield, his purr and why he isn’t fond of it, etc. But the one thing he literally finds painful to converse about is the family he left on Earth. Keeping himself from bringing them up is emotionally and physically painful, the feeling of his heartbreak still being an open wound, which he never gave a chance to heal.
Quockerwodger: Who do they most often mock?
Thace, having the sense of humor he has, will choose whoever is closest to him to mock in a lighthearted way. He is never mean spirited about it and if he does hit a sensitive spot and wound someone’s feelings he is quick to apologize and take back what he said. But one who he can’t resist mocking like a jokester is Sendak, yet he’d never do it in front of the Galra commander. He still holds respect towards him, but he just can’t resist. The only one he refuses to mock, or rather afraid to mock, is Zarkon.
Recumbentibus: What was their greatest victory?
For Thace, anything that is won for the right reason is a great victory. Sadly, it usually is a victory not shared with his comrades within the Galran army. The greatest one done by his own hand is the scrambling of information that was collected over the course of three years on planets and how the strange elements could be utilized for the sake of the Galra Empire. The project was too jumbled after he was done with it, no one could ever sort through it and deem it accurate. The records and plans for said planets were dropped and left alone out of frustration and hopelessness. Thace was so pleased, he ended up getting drunk alone in his quarters that night.
Biblioclasm: Is there something about themselves they wish fewer people knew about?
There are small and touchy things that Thace wishes no one knew about him. The smallest ones being where he comes from to the strange markings he has on his wrists and feet. He likes to try and stay a private person. The two most touchy things however are how strict he is with soldiers, and the death of his father. Thace has a certain reputation among the lower ranking soldiers. He is as respected as much as he is feared, (but this does not stop snobby and rebellious Galra from challenging him). He wishes he didn’t earn that respect from forcing soldiers to do what is expected of them in the toughest, cruelest orders given to them all. While the death of his father is self explanatory, his last words having been laced with loyalty to Emperor Zarkon…
