it had been a while since she had seen him, she got scared &. ran away ----- which is what she usually did , when she felt cornered. she loved him &. maybe loves him still ( not that she would ever tell him ) . they were going to be working together &. having to be around each other frequently. ❝ let’s skip the niceties &. get to the point , shall we ? ❞ she takes a momentary pause, taking a sip of the coffee in her hand. ❝ there isn’t a reason why we can’t be civil with one another, right ? ❞
