Day 20. Bookstore/Library

I mainly buy secondhand books from Ebay, as it’s just cheaper for me. I also don’t drive, neither does my husband, so transport is an issue. Online ordering is just what’s best for me but if I ever do want to browse a bookshop, which obviously i do love to do, these are the closest ones I can get to :D I couldn’t take my own pics, as obviously we are in a pandemic lockdown. :-/

(Yes the first one is a bookshop/cafe, browse books, then have some tea and cake, so british lol :D )

Day 3. Currently reading.

I love the Witch books of the Terry Pratchett Discworld. Quite enjoying this one 😄

Day 24. Biggest swoon.

I am literally drawing a blank. Nothing is coming to mind. I can’t think of any book, where I was ‘swooning’ over a character... ?? :-/

Day 23. Beach read.

Now I havnt actually read these on the beach but I personally think they would be good to read there. Especially if your in Cornwall England, as thats where this mermaid story is based. 😄 As you can see I'm actually having a re read of book 2 at the moment (just finished book 1) and have recently bought book 3 and 4 as I've never had them before! 😊 I know these are teenager-ish books but I still enjoy them. 😄

Day 22. Most recent DNF. (This means Did Not Finish right? :-/ )

I have loved every Terry Pratchett book that I have read so far BUT i could not finish Moving Pictures. It just didn’t seem to have the same vibe, it seemed long, drawn out and I think it was a bit confusing. I just felt like I didn’t want to waste any more of my time reading it. :-s

Day 21. Funniest read.

I don’t paticulary go for funny books, the only ones i could think of that do make me smile and have some humour to them, are the Terry Pratchett books in general. :)

Day 19. Favourite Adaptation.

This one is tough, as so many good books have been brought to life as films.

There is one movie that I think is actually better then the book, which is very very rare and that is Aquamarine. The movie really did the book justice. :)

Oviously I have to mention the Harry potter books/films! I mean they are just awesome! :D Also Practical Magic... and the Twilight Saga.... and the Terry Pratchett books/films, The colour of magic, Going Postal and the Hogfather! :D
