holy shit my friend sent me the simultaneous viz app upload of the takiko/uruki flashback and i am literally sobbing. that was so romantic and angsty and beautiful

basically uruki calls toroki, a celestial warrior who can paint things to life for just an hour or two, to paint takiko. he works with uruki to paint her perfectly and she comes to life. inami, urumiya, and even hatsui see her briefly. at the end, uruki says toroki 'gave him one more hour with his wife'

This is an original short film of the inner dark recesses of my mind. It quite frankly makes me mad that there are all these standards of beauty forced on both men and women.

Women are constantly changing their appearance to fit into what is deemed beautiful and its so ridiculous. We then become convinced that beauty is unattainable and therefore find no real value in what we do. Why? Woman are just naturally beautiful the way they are.

And men! It gets so bad they become trapped in this horrible negative mindset and then alot of the time they turn it into violence. Against women, against themselves, against everything that makes them feel this way. But what else can they do when we tell them to constantly bottle everything up!

Ultimately I made this to portray my frustration with all of this. Its a vicious cycle that hurts people and I hope that someday this is no longer the case.

Fuck Yeah, Benedict Samuel!

You guys should know by now that I really loving running Fuck Yeah, Xavier Samuel! I thought it would just be a picture-a-day project, but it's turned into so much more to me and I really have y'all to thank for that. And, in that same spirit, I have started another venture - a "brother blog" to FYXS.

It seems to me that most fans of Xavier at least have some curiosity about his younger brother, Benedict, so I figured he also deserved to have a blog dedicated to his many endeavors.
