my all-time ultimate fave character: Jane Gloriana Villanueva Cordero (the Cordero is there in my heart ok)

a character I didn’t used to like but now do: I never disliked Petra but she went from she’s terrible but I love her for some reason to I loVE HER

a character I used to like but now don’t: Rose used to be a really great villain but now she’s just done too much without consequences and Luisa really needs to be free from her (I’ve not seen the latest ep idk if anything with them happened).. similarly I used to love Luisa but now she seems to be more of a caricature and it feels like the show has forgotten that she’s highly intelligent though it’s not helped by the fact Yara is busy with another show (basically JtV u gotta do better with your lesbians)

a character I’m indifferent about: Raf soz bud I care about you but not as much as the others

a character who deserved better: MICHAEL CORDERO JR also Luisa and Nadine

a ship I’ve never been able to get into: Rose and Luisa, Jane and Raf

a ship I’ve never been able to get over: Jane and Michael rip will I ever not be bitter

a cute, low-key ship: I really rooted for Luisa and Susanna before…y’know….. also Ro and Xo if they can FINALLY stop their constant on-and-off, basically as long as they’re happy (I’d not minded Xo with Bruce and Ro with Darci tbh)

an unpopular ship but I still enjoyed it: listen I enjoy Raf and Petra’s dynamic as hotel partners and my ideal endgame has JPR as platonic coparenting bros but knowing that the show is gonna have Raf end up with one of them I wouldn’t be against those two (I mean we know it’s most likely to be Jane so)

a ship that was totally wrong and never should have happened: I never liked that Jane and Prof Chavez was essentially her and her teacher, also remember when Michael and Nadine were a……thing? and Lina and Billy Cordero? wild

my favourite storyline/moment: YO MICHAEL TE TOMO A TI JANE COMO MI ESPOSA (sososo much good stuff there are probably like 50 other scenes I could have said but since that was almost one year ago…. my fave ep is probably ch38 though)

a storyline that never should have been written: lol well apart from the obVIOUS (which I am holding back on judging on a storytelling level for a while so we can see how long-term stuff plays out even though I’ll never like that they killed him) I hated the reveal about Susanna (I mean it was BRILLIANT but) since it was such a massive step backwards for Luisa, they dragged out the Petrafied plot too long I think, and I still think they should have held out a while longer before having Jane try dating again and explored her more as a single person since before the time jump we’d only really had a handful of eps where Jane was properly single

my first thoughts on the show: I just watched 13 eps in one day WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT A WHOLE WEEK NOW THERE’S SO MUCH DRAMA

my thoughts now: I’m bitter about some things and think it’s lost some of the perfect pacing and balance of family drama and telenovela crime twists that made it so truly unique at the start but I still love it so so much and care so much about the characters who are my tv family (also the looming finale is STRESSING ME)

13 : does your country (or family) have any specific superstitions or traditions that might seem strange to outsiders?

in my family, not really, but there’s this one that’s in french movies/books :  you can’t give a knife to friends/relatives as a present, they have to give something in return bc if not you’re symbolically cutting the links of love and friendship between you (i think it’s a specific french tradition, correct me if i’m wrong)

14 :  do you enjoy your country’s cinema and/or TV ?

I really really enjoy French cinema!! my last favourite movie is 120 battements par minutes;  but i don’t watch much French TV (except for Le bureau des légendes)
