Today was all about openings. It was lovely to spend a day with an old friend as we set up the gallery space at Forestedge Stone gallery. I felt connected in this space surrounded by the feminine energy of these art piece. These people and this space felt like my tribe. So grateful for special friends who invite me to connect and open doors where I was seeing walls. As individuals it often feels easier to look at logic and stick with what we know. We easily choose places close to home but they are not necessarily where our joy lives. Sometimes we need to move a little bit further outside our comfort zone. Driving 45 minutes rather than 15... so easy to say ‘it’s too hard’ or I can’t be bothered rather than opening up to the idea of YES because it feels right and opens up spaces that offer joyful connections. How often have you said no because it is inconvenient even when your heart is saying YES? As I explore my art path I have decided to say yes more often and when I do say no it will be from my heart rather than my head. Art teaches me to trust my inner guidance more every day. It feels like saying yes to your heart opens up so many new openings. I know that I choose my heart when I am being the best version of me. My heart is that intuitive voice that speaks my truth from a space of connection and guidance.
