Hey! One of my alters is into witchy stuff but she hasn't actually fronted long enough to do anything about it. Is there any way you can help get her started? Or pointed in the right direction? I am absolutely clueless about all of this stuff ^-^'
ive got a witch blog over @quartz-magicks thats full of easy and fun ways to do witchy stuff in daily life!
Help my partner is so sweet to me and my alters and if one of my alters is out he treats them as their own person and interacts appropriately with them!!! I’m so happy he treats us all well!!!
Hi, I'm looking to buy my first axolotl and I see people saying 10 gallons is good for an adult but that seems so small... Like I think 10 gal is just barely enough for my betta. I want a 20 gal but I also saw that they go to the surface every 20 min or so and juveniles may get tired of swimming to the surface of a 20 gal. I really don't want to have to upgrade from a 10 to a 20 once it gets bigger. How can I adapt a 20 gal to not stress out a juvenile??? Ty
@fyrinn I too personally feel like 10 gallons is too small for an axolotl considering their adult size.
I would get a 20 gallon long because i dont believe they come in breeder size but if they do then get that. you want more floor space than height.
As for oxygen in the water you should consider adding an air stone to the aquarium to help oxygenate the water. Plants could help as well. Marimo are plants and of course oxygenate the water, and they’re cute! some axolotls even play with them! if youre still worried then add maybe add like those suction cup turtle docks? but i know not all of them float so just put it under water near the surface if you need to. or use taller hides to add some easy access points to oxygen. though really gulping for air shouldn’t be an issue if the water is properly oxygenated.
sorry for taking so long to reply. i hope this helps!
Tfw the system little takes better care of the body (eats, showers, brushes teeth, etc.) than any of the alters and especially the host :))) (and she's only 6! Everyone else is 18+)
I saw someone else ask a similar question, but how can I tell if I'm trans or if it's just my male alter's influence?
Time, communication, therapy...
Sometimes I feel like the better you know your alters, the easier it is to figure out what is actually you. Through like...process of elimination.
But really its about not rushing for a label. Just let yourself be. In the moments when you feel like yourself and feel grounded and happy, who are you?
fyrinn replied to your post “I just realized something @swolerbear lololol about the /r/fatlogic...”
@htjglass find me peer reviewed scholarly and medical journals that are current and prove your point, and I'll take back what I said.
You want me to prove to you that insulin exists...and other hormones are real?? Here you go but you’re going to pretend the citations dont count because “Reasons”. I know how this sealion shit works.
But come get you some.

Calories are not just calories. Calories are a proximate mechanism concerning weight gain and loss while hormones literally take the center stage whether they affect physiologically or psychologically. Never have been. If you only eat 1000 calories a day you could waste. Now make it 1000 calories of sugar and fuck your hormones/give yourself insulin resistance/do it long enough and flood your body with enough glucose that you get metabolic syndrome or pre diabetes and guess what happens.
Weight gain.
CICO is reductive, shallow nonsense that has been thoroughly been disproven in its presentation of In/Out with too much in meaning miraculous fat appearing as if there’s no physiological process to deciding to store it or lose it. Hormones and what you eat affect this, not just how much you eat. PROXIMATE factor. PROXIMATE. People cling to CICO because it has to be the case to render them good, moral, disciplined people who are Doing It Right unlike those fatties. And thus, fatphobia in all its forms is not only justified, its the moral thing to do. Abusing people directly or socially for being a size you dont approve of.
THIS is why the solution, which is rapidly becoming clear to glucose overload, insulin resistance/diabetes/metabolic syndrome and chronic obesity is fasting and carb reduction-- because the blood sugar has to go down drastically first.
You’re just wrong.
Fyrinn has done nothing wrong ever in his life. I know this and I love him and his outfit.
