Finally leaving the villa for the first time since they'd arrived, Teddy and Josie spent the afternoon exploring the main island in Mua Pel'am, stopping along the way to take photos, build sand sculptures, and investigate a mysterious cave.

Leaving the beach, they climbed up into the hills, curious about the billowing smoke.

Josie: Uhh, that's...

Teddy: A volcano! This is so cool.

Josie: Maybe we should go back? I'm not sure it's safe to be up here.

Teddy: Nah it's fine, I wanna check it out!

Together, they stood on the balcony as the sun dipped below the horizon.

Josie: We're definitely not in Chestnut Ridge anymore... Sulani is beautiful. I'm so glad we're doing this.

Teddy: I wouldn't want to be here with anyone else.

Staring out at the ocean, the temptation to dive in was too strong and with no one around, the couple saw little need for swimwear.

Josie: Your obsession with skinny dipping worries me.

Teddy: Says you, joining me again...

Teddy: I'm still not sure I get how this science baby thing works. Your kid is just growing in some lab in Oasis Springs while you're here eating dinner?

Dale: Yep! It's called the Plott Method. We can bring the baby home in a couple days.

Amelia: Watcher, men have it so easy.

The sun was already starting to set by the time Teddy and Josie remembered they had needs to attend to and cases to unpack. Throwing her case onto the bed and opening it up, Josie peered inside.

Josie: Hmm…

Teddy: What’s up?

Josie: You know how Livi packed our bags for us?

Teddy: Uh-huh…

Josie: There’s some new things in here, I think she might have gone shopping… I’m not sure some of this stuff even counts as clothes.

Teddy: Yeah? Remind me to send her a thank you card when we get home.

Amelia: When I transform… I could hurt you. I’d need to lock myself away.

Dani: I have a nectar cellar.

Amelia: Dani–

Dani: Whatever you try to throw at me it won’t change how I feel. We’re fated, Amelia. I can’t go back to life before you.

Amelia: You really want to do this?

Dani: More than anything.

Wrapping her arms around Amelia in a comforting hug, Josie whispered to her friend.

Josie: You’re so brave. You’ve been through so much, I’m glad you finally felt like you could tell us.

Amelia: Thanks, Jo– Wait, are you…

Josie: Am I what?

Amelia: N-Nothing. I just thought… Doesn’t matter.

The day after Teddy and Josie returned to Chestnut Ridge, they received a message from Dani asking them to come over later that afternoon.

Arriving at the cottage, they found Dale and Morgan waiting outside...

Morgan: So they told you guys to come over as well, huh?

Teddy: Apparently it’s important…

Dale: Can’t think what this might be about!

Teddy: I hope neither of them ever considers a career as a spy, we haven’t even been in the country and we still know what’s going on.
