The exhaustion is hitting a critical point I fear

Been thinking a lot recently that I want to be writing again, but can't think of any plot. I'm so amazed and envious of people here with multi chapter fics and tens of WIPs!

But I watched The Deep Blue Sea again recently, and it made me realise that a good story, a good PLOT, can just take place over 24 hrs. OK there were flashbacks, but the film was about those last 24 hrs they were together.

It also had a gut wrenching theme that I think most of us have experienced; staring at a clock, wishing to turn it back 24 hours, because something had turned your life upside down. It's so, so painful. You'll look at the sky and beg, and bargain, but it won't go back.

Anyway. It made me think that if you have three people, and a situation, you have a story. ('Betrayal' is an example of that one.)

So I might push on and try with that idea.
