I AM SO SORRY I DID NOT GET TO THIS UNTIL NOW.  I kept reading this ask over and over again, and I wish I could have told you this directly... No, of course it’s not bad!  I don’t have much experience with family drama, and I know that a lot of things can be conflict resolved, but... if you’ve lived for that long with someone and they haven’t made the effort to change, you don’t need to keep hoping that they’ll change.

I hope graduation was good for you, dude.  It’s supposed to be a rad night for and about you, hope your dad turns around sometime but if not it’s not something you can control, nor do you need to worry about it. 

I’m so glad you asked!!! It’s from this 19th century propaganda illustration about Napoleon signing the treaty of Tilsit with Tsar Alexander I of Russia in 1807, and some people took it to mean that France was getting way too friendly with Russia.

God, there are a lot of these, I love them so much.  Look at them.   Look at how much political illustrators loved to ILLUSTRATE THEIR POINT SUCCINCTLY.

Thank you!  Of course you will, honestly, I had noooo idea I even wanted to do animation at first.  I went in with a small, small amount of illustration experience from high school, and a vested interest in anime/cartoons/film.  You go to Sheridan to learn!  It doesn’t matter how ‘well’ you do, only how much you keep trying to learn and improve and get better with as much self-care as possible.

Though, strong word of warning- animation school is more of a film school than a straight-up art school.  You definitely learn all the basics you need, but if you have absolutely no interest in film or animation/sequential art I wouldn’t recommend going to school for it.

But who knows!  You might learn to like it, develop a passion, just like I did! :^)

Since we're already stepping into VtM territory with S76 being Brujah, would that make Gabriel's would-be sire Nagaraja? Or maybe Nosferatu? Or is it kind of a separate case scenario from S76?

ill be honest- i dont really know anything about vampire the masquerade. all i know about it is from cry’s playthrough on youtube (which is still one of my favorite things). im slowly learning about vtm, but as it’s not in my direct set of fandoms, its not going anywhere fast. i love vtm’s vampires tho they’re so interesting and full of Boyfriend Material.

so i had to look up what the FUCK a nagaraja is.

originally, i was planning on his sire to be Nosferatu- since Blackwatch was covert and did things behind the scenes, it made sense. Since it’s been implied that Gabriel’s been Reaper for a lot longer than the few years Overwatch was disbanded (from what I remember), it’s likely that the blood intended to be put into Gabriel was sabotaged/switched with a Nagaraja’s.

I don’t really know /how/ it went wrong and he’s the creature that he is- the au is still a work in progress, I mostly just wanted to figure out what everyone was- and, honestly, it could be a while before i figure out why the HELL he’s like that.
