more divorced!gabrielamala but in the AU where they meet and have a relationship before canon starts. i want them to bicker before meetings and pretend like there's nothing wrong while in denial of the growing tension between them. they thought they left amicably but there was so much left unsaid. maybe they got divorced out of spite and regret it immensely. everyone notices but they refuse to say anything. "were they always like this?" "no, things used to be...different" and they start to slowly fall in love. maybe share a dance or two. perhaps a passionate kiss in the rain...only for one to kill the other during the finale. idk
