What if Sebastian's younger brother became hyper religious after watching his older brother be sentenced to death-row
Most of the fandom has kinda all collectively decided that Seb's younger brother's name has to be Gabriel. As a nod to like, ULTRAKILL Gabriel sharing the same voice actor. But I haven't seen anyone actually try to do anything more with the idea besides the name.
But I was thinking it would be an interesting idea that after seeing Sebastian sentenced to death row, Gabriel started to get super into religion as a way of coping.
With his side hobby being Fencing.
Y'know, that sword fighting sport that hardly anyone talks about?
So like, when Sebastian finally escapes Hadal Blacksite years later, he tries to reunite with his family, only to find out that his little brother has become this weird hermit who lives like up in the mountains. Sebastian's mom would be like "Gabriel has been... distant... lately. I send letters as often as I can, but I'm not sure if he reads them. And im too old and tired to make the climb to where he's secluded himself up in that old cabin."
Sebastian is like "Don't worry, ma. I'll sort him out." But when he gets there and knocks on the door, Gabriel immediately draws a sword and is all like "NICE TRY, DEMON!"
and a whole sort of fight ensues where Sebastian is desperately trying to convince Gabriel that DESPITE LOOKING LIKE A SEA SERPENT WHO'S CRAWLED UP FROM THE ABYSS, he is in fact Gabriel's long lost brother-- meanwhile Gabriel is trying his absolute best to try and turn Sebastian into sushi with his badass swords.
I don't know, its been an idea thats been in my head for a while now, and I'd thought I'd share it in case somebody wants to use it as an idea for a fic or comic or something.
