( Gabriel-sweet) Gabriel was out hunting in the early morning, dew droplets twinkling in the light of the slowly rising sun. He crouched low as he spotted a human, just around his size. But a branch suddenly snapped under his foot, alerting his target to his presence. The human ran and Gabriel definitely didn’t have the energy to chase them right now... maybe he’d just go fish or something. That’s way easier. He grumbled as he stood to his full height of 5 foot 6 and stretched a bit .
The first rays of dawn trickle onto the slumbering beast’s back like warm, golden honey, just gentle enough to alert his subconscious of its presence, yet so faint that it does anything but awaken him - the only response he delivers is a gentle twitch of his plump tail.
Last night was a hearty feast: an entire castle is now left abandoned, every last inhabitant nothing but a slurry of flesh and bone in his massive gut. He’s slept off most of his meal, and judging by his current condition he’ll stay asleep.
