It wasn’t the best idea to take a run at night, but sometimes the brunette got so wound up in her head that she had to put in her headphones and take off on her normal route. That’s how she found herself out that night, paused at the corner on her way back towards her apartment. Since she was doing her cooldown, she didn’t bother to jog in place, instead, she just stood, listening to her music. It took a few seconds before Gabby realized someone was talking to her and she fumbled to pause her music on her phone and pull out her earbuds. “Sorry, I had my music on. What’d you say?”

"If you don't shut up, I'm going to bite you." Gabrielle said, annoyed. Her green eyes flicked over to the other person. The vampire stared at them, wondering if they'd continue to speak.

Gabrielle looked around at all of the lights, awestruck. She’d missed the festivities many times when she was growing up, but the few times her mother hadn’t planned some competition for her, the brunette had thought she was the luckiest girl in the world. It’d always made her feel left out when she hadn’t been able to come and her classmates would talk about what had happened, or what they’d seen. Since moving out on her own, the young woman hadn’t missed the Light Switch On. Every time, it felt like magic. “Isn’t it beautiful?” She asked the person standing beside her. “It’s like...just so magical.”

"Sticks and stones may break my bones. But my fists can actually kill you." The blonde said in a bored tone. Gabrielle crossed her arms and stared at the other. "You don't want to find out." The vampire warned.

"You're out late. That could be dangerous, you know..." the vampire said.

Vampire || OPEN

"Vampires, vampires, vampires..." The blonde said with a chuckle. "So you're a fan, huh?" She looked the other over, crossing her arms. "Just how big a fan?"

Gabrielle || OPEN

"Buy me a drink. Then we'll talk." The blonde said, sitting back in her seat. The vampire stared the other down, wondering how they'd respond.
