At the beginning of Unfinished Business it was mentioned that Cas had been sent to Texas because Rowena's tracking spell had Gabe's grace in two places. What if the Gabe who went to Apocalypse World was a duplicate?

It explains the lack of grace and if Cas did find Gabe in Texas his memories could easily be changed even by a powered down archangel.
