Another image for my #visionboard This man inspired me so much! I even wrote a poem about him in high school. I finally gave it to him a few years ago - though not directly - I received a thank you email. I've been blessed to see him on stage twice and each time I flew 3000 miles to do so. He and #cicely were my inspiration to perform. Seeing them both onstage together was EVERYTHING!! They were having so much fun!! Who remembers #gabrielsfire ? I recorded every episode in 1998. (Like I did all one hour dramas with Us) I will perform in this theater. My work or someone else's. #jamesearljones you are a masterclass in performance so much more than #darthvadar This honor is long overdue. This man was first person that inspired me to act. He is now 89 years young...I never met him but saw him onstage with my other inspiration #cicelytyson (who I first saw in #bustinloose) a few years ago. They had sooo much fun together. I also made sure the poem I wrote about him in high school got to his "people". Thank you #jamesearljones for your detailed performances and being a true artist. #claudine is my other fave...And don't laugh but I still have videotapes of his short lived tv show #gabrielsfire I still remember the way he ate a hotdog for the first time in years in the pilot episode.
