Women in Mahabharata - Gadhi Satyavati
She is the daughter of King Gadhi of Kanyakubja [Kannauj]. She is given in marriage to the Bhargava rishi Richika.
Her mother wishes for a son, and hence they both approach Richika for help, and the latter gives them each a personalized magic potion to be taken in some time. Satyavati's mother makes an awkward move here, convincing her daughter to switch the potions because she believes that Richika might have made it more powerful for his wife.
When Richika is informed of this, he reveals that he had prepared the potions to make the resulting children mimic their respective caste stereotypes- calm and wise for Satyavati's potion, and angry and vindictive for her mother's [didn't work either way, but go off I guess], and the exchange would result in kids with the opposite personalities.
Satyavati then pleads with her husband, so he advises her to keep her son in check, and to pray the temper would remain under control [it didn't], but warned that it will definitely manifest in her grandson [it did].
Satyavati then gives birth to Jamadagni [suppressed fire], Parashurama's father [both being pretty violent men], and her mother gives birth to Vishwamitra [friend of the world], who renounces his throne and fights the society to move upwards in the system and become a brahmin.
