I ship Abner and Gadriel so bad.
There was some spec going around (I didn't reblog it because a lot of it was attached to "Gadreel is good underneath" type talk and while I can appreciate a character's nuances, I can't do that after Kevin, not for a long while anyway) about how Gadreel might have killed the host the way he did in order for Abner to be able to escape. Have you read any of that? I hadn't thought about it, but focusing on the slit throat would make sense in that case.
OHHHHH! I hadn’t read that, but I absolutely LOVE that! I remember thinking it was an odd way to kill Abner (what with this show’s habit of just stabbing people in the heart/chest/etc), but I didn’t think much of it other than that.
Holy cowwww I SO hope that’s true and that we get to see Abner again one day!
