Após alguns encontros durante a Copa do Mundo em Fortaleza entre o artista francês Gael Rapon a.k.a. Retine Mecanique com o MC e compositor André Gouveia, o GDS. Foi que surgiu a ideia de gravar uma sessão de videos, com o objetivo de mostrar um pouco do que rola nas ruas e praias de Fortaleza.

After some meetings and sessions during the World Cup in Fortaleza BRASIL, between the french artist, Gael Rapon, a.k.a. RETINE MECANIQUE and MC, musician and composer, André Gouveia. They decided to make another session during a whole day, with the purpose of showing and revealinh to the world, what's coming from Brazil Hip-Hop. Specially in Fortaleza streets and Ceará beaches.

VM na Rima é um dos grupos de rap que vem ao longo dos anos, construindo um público e fortalecendo a cena do rap cearense, cumprindo um papel social e cultural para toda a comunidade 

VM na Rima is one of the most important and reknown names in hip-hop scene in Fortaleza, with an extense discography, videoclips and concerts all over Ceará. They also keep their roots working in some social projects with the children living in favelas.
