I was actually pretty stoked to get someone from home for this Secret Santa thing. Getting someone you hardly know makes gifting that much harder, but as soon as I got your name, I got an idea. I know it isn’t much now, but when I looked into it, it sounded really cool. So you’ll get a Paletteful Pack every month until next Christmas, but to hold you over until they come, I figured you can’t have too many paints. Can’t wait to see what beautiful things you bring into the world.

🔥 Our muses roast marshmallows by a bonfire!

Monty felt like he’d hardly had a chance to unpack his bags before he was being swept out of his cottage to a bonfire by Gage. Fire wasn’t exactly his favorite thing since the whole coma incident, but being back in Walt meant he had to go back to doing normal Walt things that he pretended to hate, and this was one of them. He figured it would even earn him brownie points with the stupid therapist his father had made him see while he was home; he could send her a picture, tell her that he was drinking water and coping great, and maybe then she’d finally leave him alone and he could just... exist without being bothered. 

Except taking a picture of fire was one thing, actually stepping closer to it was another. “I’m just going to eat them raw, they taste better that way,” Monty informed Gage, waving his marshmallow stick at her, poking her with the soft, pillowy marshmallows that he’d stuck onto the end of it to make sure she was paying attention.
