"Paul Noble: New Works" at Gagosian San Francisco, opens this Thursday, November 2, 5–7PM PT. Don't miss out! These new works, made since 2015, unfold within flat, planar settings, devoid of the epic scale and spatial breadth that have characterized past drawings. The earliest show a sparse woodland or flat, horizonless outdoor settings. In "EGG LEG" (2015), a giant leg stands within a tiled hexagon in a clearing, dwarfing the surrounding trees.  http://fal.cn/teJZ

Roe Ethridge's exhibition “Innocence II,” opens tomorrow at Gagosian San Francisco, from 5–7PM PT. Come check it out! “Innocence II” includes a new series of large-scale, layered photographs printed on brass. Multiple exposures and transparencies synthesize on the gleaming metallic surface, producing near-alchemical effects, as if each detail were made of light itself. http://fal.cn/tjJr

What's the latest NOW? On November 2, Gagosian San Francisco will premiere Paul Noble's newest drawings. The video "At the Studio with Paul Noble," directed by Gagosian's Miriam Perez, takes the viewer into Noble's workspace as he prepares for this exhibition. Including interview footage alongside documentation of the artist's intensive process, the video serves as a faithful chronicle of Noble's latest efforts. In town for the SFMOMA Modern Ball? Come see Plane.Site, a cross-generational exhibition of modern and contemporary artists inaugurating Gagosian's new San Francisco gallery. The exhibition is on view now at Gagosian SF, 657 Howard Street, directly across from the new @sfmoma. 

Opening reception for Plane.Site is Wednesday, May 18th, from 5:00 to 7:30pm.

Come preview for “Plane.Site,” the inaugural exhibition for Gagosian Gallery's new exhibition space in San Francisco, starting today, April 29th. The exhibition explores the dynamic exchanges between drawing and sculpture, in the work of artists from the modern post-war period to the present day. To that end, each participating artist is represented by a work in both two and three dimensions.
