Transformers: Galactic Trials

Saw someone mention a Transformers game I'd never heard of before called Galactic Trails because it was on sale

I looked into it and since it's usually 40 dollars and now currently only 16 I decided to give it a go and oh my god am I glad I did

Autobots and Decepticons I am not joking when I say that in the first two hours I've played so far I have had SO much of a blast, I haven't had this much fun with a new game or a racing game in such a long time and this was worth every cent oh my goodness

Imagine Mario Kart but with transformers and instead of power ups to give you a boost and slow your enemies down, there are sections of the tracks where you go into bot mode and have to shoot obstacles like turrets and troopers, along with each other, to get advantages and slow your opponents down

This game is the epitome of chef's kiss and so I'm putting it on to everyone while it's still on sale because 16 for a 40 dollar game is a STEAL for what you're getting here

woah so Outright Games is releasing another transformers title, a racing game! very excited for this. The maps look gorgeous and it seems like an easy game to learn. 11 total playable characters who you can level up, four of whom are written as gals; Elita One, Arcee, Flamewar, and Nightbird:

@yonker-tonker we figure people might have told you already that she's in this! she looks so damn cool, love the ankle wheels, yellow biolights, the pink sword...

personally love that this Arcee doesn't have much curve in her waist and has broad shoulders, and is a mix of her bbm and sunbow look with cyan biolights and pink outer thigh slopes (something that was one with her t30/combiner hunter/platinum toys and occasionally by some artists during 2012-2016 for IDW1, and for Synergy and IDW 2019 along with most recently in the TTRPG core rulebook). her alt mode is a more Chromia-esque lightcycle take on her BBM altmode which makes us happy because basically a more heavily armored (and likely unintentional) modern successor to her hovercar/bike mode in Heart of Darkness #2. Think it's important to note that in the Go Go manga Haruka Oda specifically gave Arcee a more G1 look with a BBM-esque alt mode.

for those of you who haven't seen evergreen Elita, this is her! bulky from the hips up. love her deco and that she has two different biolight colors

Transformers Universe videogame / Prime toy Flamewar has had some sort of legacy lately in transformers media, given that she's also had a similar look in the deckbuilding game and robo rally. only now realizing how much her color scheme is similar to Dreamwave's Fallen and instead of having literal flames has flame motifs. please excuse while we think about Megatronus loyalist old lady Flamewar

Characters I'd like to be playable in Galactic Trials (rough digibashes) Mainly Cybertron Hotshot, he's THE bot to be on a race!

Galactic Trials has the ability to FINALLY break the Knockout curse because I wanna see my favorite Aston Martin back on screen again

Realized from learning about the Roblox TF racing game that Galactic Trials may be happening also may be because there's a race in TF One. So, however the movie turns out (we think good) ty also to Cooley & Ventura & the team 'cause we're finally getting a modern TF racing game. It's something that makes a lot of sense for transformers when you think about it but given how combat oriented the games historically have been (and Galactic Trials itself does a fighting portion for bot mode) that may explain why a racing game hasn't been greenlit until now. (maybe there was one for the phone/tablet but there hasn't ever been one for console and pc unless it's from way back when, but we're not aware of such a title)

Sold my blood and almost died (donated after no breakfast (DO NOT DO THIS I AM A FOOL)) and now i'm gonna use the blood money to pre-order galactic trials. i have been mocked for this but the fools simply don't understand my dedication to the bit.
