I’m fairly certain that the original asker was, in essence, asking if Jasper was AFAB or AMAB, and you did answer that. I’m not sure that you could have answered it in any more of an accurate way than how you did, especially since they seemed to just want to know if other people involved in the fandom were being “””problematic””” (I use this word with the utmost sarcasm). The answer is complicated because it’s a complicated subject for some people, and that’s okay.

I’m not 100% sure which post you’re referring to, but I noticed a years-old post about Jasper got reblogged recently, so I assume it’s that one? Since that post, I’ve explored Jasper’s character more and learned a lot about nonbinary identities (at the time of the original post, I had not heard the term ‘nonbinary’ at all). With that in mind: if you see a post claiming that Jasper would go by “she/her” pronouns, please disregard it–it is no longer canon. Jasper’s pronouns are “he/him”! At the time of the Glass Scientists, he is still questioning his gender identity but leans toward agender. This subject has not come up in the story itself but will be discussed in a later chapter!

23: describe your dream date

I’m a kinda low-stakes sorta person so anything is cool by me (but also I love seeing people be really excited by things they enjoy, so odds are if someone takes me to do something they enjoy, I’ll be happy too) (but also learning new shit?? so fun. museums and stuff are my favourite!)

30: whats your favorite candle scent? 

Rose / Jasmine / vanilla! (my least favourite is lemongrass. wh. why is it a smell. who would create such a thing)

77: do you miss anyone right now? 

Oh Boy Do I, I’ve been outta school for like a week and I already miss all my friends! I created a whole set of ocs named after my buddies from my old schools bc I missed ‘em! One time a girl in a flower shop smiled at me and I still think about her! aaaaaaa (mayyyybe im a little sentimental? whom knows not me)
