MergeTale: Error Fails to Destroy a Universe Because of a Cat and some Star Dust
Pumpkin headed bodies hung from the blue strings, tightly wound through the branches.
Error walked through the trees, looking at the figures, their green, vine covered souls wrapped in string dangling alongside the bodies.
“Geez, and I thought Undertale AU’s were abominations, this multiverse is much worse. I have a lot of work to do. Best of all, no Ink to stop me!” Error laughed, the glitched voice echoing through the empty woods.
“There may not be this Ink you speak of, but this multiverse as protectors of their own.” An astral voice echoes from behind him.
Error turns around to see an angel made of red star dust standing before him. “And who are you?”
“Galaxes. Guardian of this multiverse. “ The angel replies, crossing its arms.
“Alone?” Error chuckles smugly. “Ok buddy, I’ll deal with you easy then.”
“Oh I’m not alone. I have help now” Galaxes smirks.
Error tilts his head in confusion. A roar quickly echoes through the trees as the sound of hissing quickly draws near.
Error turns and faces the sound, just as Corruption bursts through the trees, his foot smashing into Error’s face.
Corruption lands and stands beside Galaxes.
“I have Corruption with me. You might not know him yet. He’s an alternate Aaron. “
Corruption hissed. He stood tall, dressed in a torn and weathered hoodie, three large slash marks across the chest, gold lining with strange unreadable symbols. His fur was black and messy, his eyes completely golden.
Error slowly stands to his feet. “Oh great. Look I’m not even sure what you two are.”
“Doom” Corruption growls out.
Error sighs throwing his string to them. Corruption slices the strings as they approach.
Galaxes scoffs “listen, weird skeleton thing. I’d rather just let you go back to your world, but Corruption hasn’t fought anyone in ages and he’s getting antsy.”
“Punch...bag” Corruption hisses and steps forward.
Error steps back. “Ok I’m not doing this” A distorted pixelated portal opens beside Error. Corruption hisses and rushes forward, just missing as Error slips into the portal and closes it.
Galaxes sighs “well, feel free to take the souls Corruption, I have a feeling I’ll need you as strong as possible for what’s coming. “
