I set up my lighting tent today to photograph the bunny pattern pictures. While I was at it, I photographed some betta fish that have been floating around my room. PERRL update 22.09.24

Beauty? Check

Grace? Check

Tumor? Also check 😩

PERRL can't decide if they want to turn blue or not and have just been continuously morphing between blue and white every week. Still refuses to touch blood worms, and will try to viscously attack me if I walk by the tank but will swim away scared so fast if I dare get close to the tank to say hello 🤷🏻‍♀️

PERRL is making a fabulous recovery. Gaining some body mass, colors deepening, being more active and curious...

Look at that unclamped ventral fin! The second time I've seen it unclamped since adoption day.

Fergus and PERRL update 11/2/24~

They are both very happy n active n lil food monsters. PERRLs tumor is growing rapidly, now there's two bumps growing like a lil ball sack right on his fin. Fergus' tumor is chillin', it opens up occasionally but nothing a lil stress guard doesn't heal right up for him. Tanks are due for some scaping, but the fishies love it how it is so.. eh.
