ice dye day!

remember kids: safety first!

here we have my fantastically high-tech dye frame. pvc pipe, chicken wire, and alllllll the zip ties. suspended on folding chairs over a drop cloth that (hopefully) will guide most of the melting liquid into a bucket beneath. i didn't have enough room to lay out the strip of fabric that will be the bias tape so i laid it on top and am hoping for the best.

i could have used another bag or two of ice but there are already some fun variegations happening in here.

So I figured, what’s the point of having all this hair if I don’t do anything fun with it? Spent my saturday doing a galaxy under-dye.

Depending on how it holds up I might do my entire head. We’ll see :p
