MadTree Brewing Galaxy High Imperial IPA (Picked up at Queen City Wine & Spirits in Cincinnati, OH). A 3 of 4. A really bright and big tropical IPA with a nice medium body that features the hops quite well. Mostly tropical notes with a bit of herbal qualities later in the palate, and a relatively aggressive bitter finish. Quite tasty, it's close to a 4.

I'm still in a but of a writing slump but I recently got really hyperfixated on the 1985 cartoon Galaxy High School, so I wrote a little baby fic of my two favorite humans :). If you haven't seen it, all 12 episodes are free on Youtube!

I myself am one of the 2 probably only existing fans of Beef but there's nothing feeding me other than posts dating back to 2012 about him so I'm surviving off of Beef focused episodes and literal crumbs of fanart that contain him (I love how people redesign him) Like there's another person on this website who redesigned the non-humans of the Galaxy High cast and made some of the characters very geometric looking (onebadnoodle) and I am an absolute sucker for how some of them literally look like Pokemon but also manage to look SUPER CUDDLY. Like, Beef looks a LOT like a Pokemon but I would love to have a plushy of this guy if he looked like his redesigned version (Nothing wrong with how he looked originally its just that the redesign makes him look less intimidating and more cute) I LOVE how they give him a tail because he got chicken features so why not give him a chicken tail. Honorable Mention Booey, she looks so adorable and sosososo huggable.

BUT YEAH I love the alien designs in the show and seeing other people takes on them too, cause honestly yeah they are already good but then you get someone else pushing it even more and it’s so neat to see. I love fandom redesigns like that

Yeah I get that he is the bully character but the character development is what I like most about him. (That but what is it with some people sometimes ship him with Doyle? I dont know what that entails but hey people are bound to ship bully characters with their victims and depending on how severe the bullying was its a factor on whether I like the ship or not) I just really like how for an 80s cartoon of its time it still made an effort to add episodes centered around characters that arent Aimee or Doyle. Anyway, since Im very desperate to talk about this show I may or may not keep sending these anonymous asks that consist of me yapping about it. I can lowkey understand how people can perceive Beef as a tsundere type because there are episodes where he does make an effort to be semi-nice (or tone down his rudeness) to Doyle but then in the very next scene just be rude overall. But yeah, I kinda want to know your take on this ship.

Such a short 80s cartoon too! I wouldn’t blame them at all if they kept the focus primarily on the main duo but yeah it really is nice that despite the short run some other characters got good spotlight too, I looove side character stuff so I definitely appreciate it!

Now, Beef x Doyle: Yknow I’ve never really considered it before so my thoughts sure aren’t solid but I can get behind it. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to make or look for content of them, but I probably wouldn’t be mad if I stumbled across it.

Tbh I’m not usually one to like bully x victim dynamics myself but that show is so cartoonish and still gives Beef his nicer moments, so I feel like I’d be nuts if I got mad at it.
