I thought, why not post some of my house flipper creations?
The lot name is Picturesque Loft, with slightly modified walls, to make it more similar to campaign layout of the same property.
Furnitures used are mix of DLCs (most from luxury flipper) and some custom content. All the DLCs used can be found in Steam Workshop.
PS. If someone wants to play Where's Waldo, I placed Shadow the Hedgehog figurine somewhere in the house ;)
Another House Flipper project! This time, I was flipping The Old Lady's House from HGTV expansion. So let's begin the tour!
First, let's look at the outside shell and the garden. I spiced up the layout that was already in the game with come greenery and decorations. Also added nice, overgrown porch behind the house, a greenhouse both for growing flowers and relaxing and a little shed. Plus a little area for Saturday barbecue and a little plot to grow vegetables and fruits. Although the house in itself is quite small, the plot of land around is spacious. At first I thought of expanding the house, but building tool works weirdly and any results would look unnaturtal ruining the whole build. I prefer building in sequel to be honest.
Next the living room. I love this rustic, old wood vibe with some boho and vintage accents. It is my favourite style in the whole game (pets expansion was wonderful for that, although the pets themselves were quite disappointing).
Kitchen and dining area. I love setting the tables in this game. It always makes the house fell more lived in, rather than store-like advertisement for the magazin. It makes you think about people who could live there, or their taste in china or knick-knacks.
Bedroom. My second favourite room in the whole house. At first I didn't know how to use this wallpaper from luxury dlc but then it just clicked. Also, canopies, canopies for everyone! Did I mention I love canopies?
A little room that can be both artist's little atelier and guest room.
A litte library. Cause what you are going to do with a spare room if you are an old lady? Turn it into a library. Also, it hurts so much that the sit-in windows no longer work in this game.
And at the end a little shot of the bathroom and decoration in the miniature hall. I love this game but taking pictures in those tight spaces always drives me crazy. It is basicly a choice between a clunky drone and much too big player character. Need to look for some mods or cheats for clipping through the objects.
Well, to be honest base game without garden DLC felt... unfinished to me. That's why I grabbed it at the next sale it was avilable. And this is one of my favourite plots of this expansion. Mostly because you can go crazy with how you want to tranform it.
My first thought was an allotment (or community garden, I believe it is also called) where someone grows their vegetables, keeps some rabbits and invites their friends for barbecues. Also, with some inspiration with greenhouses and vintage English gardens (think rain, steel watering pans, old wood, herbs old greenhouse at the back of the house; this sort of vibe).
I am experimenting a b it with light and editting screenshots. What does look, what doesn't.
The whole space at the end and how it looks like from bird-eye view.
