Whelp, it was a nice respite, but it's time for some more Wild Mouse coasters lol. But more than just basic standard outdoor Wild Mouse coasters, these next few have some gimmicks and differences that place them a few spots above the others we went over last week.
Galaxy Spin, for example and as the name may imply, is a spinning Wild Mouse, so that immediately gives it some points over the standard models haha. Layout-wise, spinning mice are much more focused on the switchback turns rather than the drops and dips like the standard mice have during the second half of the ride. But given their focus on making the cars spin as much as possible, that's understandable.
My one ride on Galaxy Spin in November of 2021 definitely got spinning lol. I was by myself in the car and sat all the way to one side to make it as off-balance as possible and that thing REALLY got going lmao. It felt almost like a Tilt-A-Whirl and I felt sufficiently whirled by the end of the ride. Normally spinning rides aren't an issue for me, but if this one had gone on for much longer, it would have been a bit too much for me lol. It was still a lot of fun though and felt fitting for a small park like Fun Spot :]
Thanks for checking out today's coaster post! Keep an eye out for tomorrow's coaster!
