Maybe this was becoming a normal thing-- being grabbed from behind. At least this time the stature felt slightly closer to Naoto’s, which was possibly a relief, who knows.

Not that she didn’t appreciate seeing her friend, but this certainly was not their normal mode of greeting, “Is something the matter?”
Hibiki received a message from Chie quickly. As expected, she hadn't just noticed he wanted to talk but also knew what it was he wanted to talk about. Wanting to waste no time (their lunch break didn't last forever after all), he quickly send her a message back, asking her if she would like to have lunch at a nearby cafe so they could talk without having to worry about people from the Force overhearing them. He put his cell phone back in his pocket and signed.

Her next stop was, of course, the defense force building. Naoto had.. a lot.. to make up for and own up to, especially there. Her first stop was, strangely enough, the enforcement division. While she owed Art an apology for all of this, her first priority was the door next to his office.
A light tap on the door left ajar,

On account of the Deputy Boss not liking Shinichi enough to shoulder two divisions by herself -no matter how many Prada's he gets her- Sergeant Chie Satonaka of Enforcement Department is now promoted to the position of Lieutenant Commander as another owner of high rank with decent attendance.
If anyone has a problem with this decision, they can take it to their official superiors once they're back or come see me in my lab. However, if you choose the latter option, I do not guarantee your safety.
