MIUI on i9003
This is probably the best Android ROM ever!
Thanks to some superb efforts by a developer/hacker called gm007, MIUI is finally on the Samsung Galaxy S-L, i9003.
Thoughts on this ROM -
Pretty stable, one force restart in a day
I have no blacklight issue (this might be luck, some people on the forum are facing this issue, unfortunately :( )
The default JP_MIUI ROM came with UC Kernel V8 (this was wrongly indicated as V1 though) the stock clock was pretty weird - min 200MHz, max 1.2GHz. There was no option to go to 1.0GHz. So I swapped the kernel to vruttkernel v2 (clock can now be upped to 1.3, but I decided to stay on 1GHz for getting better battery life)
HW acceleration seems to be lacking, but should be fixed in a day or two.
Camera video recording is not possible in HD, some normal SD quality recording is till coming (this bug will also be fixed it seems :) )
The rest of the stuff is nice and stable like a normal MIUI Rom. The MIUI themes work too.
In other news, MIUI has also gone open source. Love this.
