A friend pointed out that the artwork I submitted for the DeviantArt Launchpad Event in New York had the wrong resolution. So here's the updated version, now featuring Archmage and Gale Phantom!

I saw this artwork of Jubilee and Spiderman together by TamalRickolino, and knew I had to do a re-draw of it with Lady Ace and Gale Phantom since it fits their personalities quite well. lol I'm genuinely surprised there aren't more redraws of this. Also damn, this is the first artwork of them interacting with each other. Anyway, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with friends and family!
Sorry for the lack of artwork last week. I was cooking this and it's now ready! You're seeing things right, more Gale Phantom art has dropped! I plan to do a follow-up artwork to this showcasing the aftermath of it all.
Also some notable tech featured in this artwork:
G-Lancer - A energy sword which is normally holstered on the back. When activated it is capable of cutting through even the hardest of materials. It has a variable intensity setting which allows the user to adjust the power of its blade. At its lowest setting, it can paralyze targets from moving which is perfect for dealing with the average criminal.
G-Blitzer - Gale Phantom's main weapon and is a combination firearm and melee weapon. Its default mode fire's a concentrated high energy beam capable of melting through targets. In burst mode, it can rapidly fire smaller energy shots. It can also generate an energy blade from the bottom of the muzzle which extends past the handle. Much like the G-Lancer, it also comes with a variable intensity setting which allows the user to adjust the power of its blade and its shots.
G-Interceptor - A semi-autonomous drone which serves as a support unit for Gale Phantom. Armed with small energy blasters, it has the ability to paralyze targets with quick accuracy, and also comes equipped with micro missiles that have swappable warheads (high explosive, flashbang, smoke, etc). When not in use, it attaches to Gale Phantom's back, upon which its powerful jets allow Gale Phantom to leap/fly short distances.
Wounded and at the mercy of the Crimson Tarantula's laser arms, It seemed like it was all over for Lady Ace. But before she could cast the final blow, the confrontation was suddenly interrupted by the presence of man in a clad in black and red armor.
Lady Ace had never seen this individual before, but she had heard of stories and rumors from multiple states in the US of an individual referred to as the Gale Phantom who performed acts of vigilantism and bore an appearance similar to the one before them.
Initially she believed that the armored vigilante was allied with Crimson Tarantula. But based on her outbursts, it seems like they weren't. Gale Phantom walked towards her without a trace of fear or hesitation. As he unholstered his firearm, Crimson Tarantula aimed all four of her mechanical laser arms towards the man, warning him about his impending doom.
However before she could react, Gale Phantom fired a bright yellow blast from his gun at her. The shot paralyzed her on the spot while disabling her weapons. The vigilante then tapped a button on a device on his belt which caused segments of his armor to glow red, followed by a bright yellow beam which ignited from the base of his gun and extended a distance like a reversed blade. With his target locked on, Gale Phantom charged forward, energy blade in hand.
Lady Ace couldn't believe her eyes at what happened next: all of sudden his speed accelerated beyond anything she had ever seen. In a split second he disappeared and reappeared in a single flash of red behind the supervillain. A surge of energy crackled as a large slash mark appeared on her body.
As the smoke cleared, Crimson Tarantula collapsed to the ground with a large burn mark going across her armor. As an unfazed Gale Phantom walked away from the destruction around him, Lady Ace called out to him asking who he was. The vigilante stopped, but didn't reply. Distant sirens could be heard as Lady Ace turned around to see vehicles from the RWPD approaching. But as she turned back, the Gale Phantom was gone.
Not long after, the Crimson Tarantula was apprehended by the police. Lady Ace was glad that Gale Phantom's strike only knocked the villain out temporarily, though it did fry her suit's circuits, removing any possible threat from her.
While the day was saved, Lady Ace was still left with unease. The biggest questions on her mind was: who is the Gale Phantom, and why is he in Royal Woods? Unfortunately that would have to be a mystery for another day.

As you can tell, I haven't given any attention to my two other superheroes since their debut. So I decided to use this follow-up artwork give Gale Phantom some love. Expect to see a bit more of him and Archmage in due time.
This was also an opportunity for me to update his design. Looks like I'll need to work on his character profile very soon as well. But before that, stay tuned for the Halloween art!
