Self Sabotaging Anxiety Of The Con Final Chapter Legendary Relief
The sunsets over in Petoskey Falls as everyone inside Lance’s place were having pizza after it got delivered. After Rita had her servings, she walked around staring at her phone for another update of her son.
“Rita.” Myrtle standing up from her seat. “Just relax.”
“I’m sorry but after Lori sent me a pic of Lincoln at the hospital, she hasn’t updated me for hours.” Rita replied.
“Lincoln will be fine.” Lance replied. “It has been hours but he’s probably still getting all the care at the hospital.”
“Still though, we still need an answer in all of this.” Leonard commented.
“The taxi is gonna be here any minute.” Albert added.
“Rita, do you want me to text Lori about it?” Lynn Sr. asked.
“Wait!” Rita got a modification from her phone. “Lori just sent me a pic!”
“Really!?” Shelby reacted.
“I wanna see it!” Shiloh added.
“One more update before bedtime.” Shane added.
As Rita went into her modification from Lori, she witnessed a photo that made her relieved. She showed everyone the photo, revealing a pic of Lady Ace with Lincoln and Clyde in their Ace Savvy and One-Eyed Jack outfits, next to her.
“Lincoln isn’t hurt.” Leonard smiled. “I don’t see any bruises.”
“And he’s standing fine.” Myrtle smiled.
“Let me see!” Shelby shouted as everyone moved out of her way, allowing Rita to show her and her brothers the pic. “Yes!” She cheered.
“I got to say, he does look good in that outfit when he’s not in fear.” Sharon smiled.
“He’s probably gonna watch the Lady Ace movie with her.” Shane added.
“She did promise him, his sisters and his friends to watch it with her in theaters.” Lance smiled.
“Lady Ace definitely gave him something to heal up.” Leonard added. “We don’t know what it is, how she did it.”
“But what matters is that he’s fine.” Rita said. “Looks like he’s coming to Sunset Canyon and coming back to school.”
“Everything is still going back to normal!” Lynn Sr. smiled.
“As long as he doesn't get another panic attack, my grandson will be happy to hang out with me.” Albert replied.
They then heard the taxi parking on the driveway, catching Rita and Lynn Sr.’s attention. “Looks like we're leaving now.”
“It’s really great you came here.” Lance smiling at his brother. “Today was really something with your son.”
“I wish we were there with them but this is between him and his sisters.”
“Hopefully when they come back, it’ll be between us, him and all of you.” Rita smiled. “Including you, Shelby.”
“I’m really thrilled to meet him at Sunset Canyon.” Shelby replied. “Just hope he’s in a healthy mood, in his heart that is.”
“We’re still working on that, and we will address that together.”
“Then keep this in mind.” Sharon said while giving Rita a hug. “Me or Lance will help out in any way we can. Including our kids.”
“I had plans but now, I’m thinking I might come just in case.” Shane replied.
“I definitely want to come, one hundred percent.” Shiloh added. “Even if Lynn Jr. won’t come.”
“It’ll still be a great time at Sunset Canyon when that happens.” Rita replied as Sharon broke the hug.
“When I see him, I’ll make sure I’ll keep the whole Captain Kit incident between me and him.” Leonard said.
“For the record.” Lynn Sr. said. “I still don’t get how the pirate flag brought him back to life.”
“Yeah, I still don’t get it.”
“I think the better idea in all of this was.” Lance chimed in. “How did you two realize he’s not really Captain Kit, especially with his pet being an octopus and not a parrot?”
Both Lynn Sr. and his father processed everything in a second. “I’m really losing my memory now.”
“I’m catching up to that age.” Lynn Sr. placed his hand on his head.
“Let’s worry about that later.” Rita replied. “We shouldn’t keep the taxi driver waiting.”
“I got my jacket on.” Myrtle replied and so did Albert. “I’ll keep the spy stuff between me and him. Especially Fifi herself.”
“I’m part of it since I saved his life from drowning.” Albert added.
“I always remember that.”
Rita, Lynn Sr., Myrtle and Albert headed outside as they entered inside the taxi. The taxi driver drove back on the road with The Loud family heading back to Sunset Canyon and home. As Rita sighed in relief, Lynn Sr. placed his arm around her. They’re more than thankful that their son is alive but on the other hand they hope a similar instant won’t happen again, even with everyone knowing the truth of what Lincoln did.
As it got dark out, Stanley parked his car next to The Casagrandes apartment with Carl coming out with Lincoln’s multitool. Soon Stanley drove away as Carl entered inside the building. Upon reaching to his floor level, his parents watched them, taking him by notice. “Carl.” Carlos replied.
“Hi Dad.” He smiled. “Hi Mom.”
“So Ronnie Anne told us you got animal control at the convention.” Frida added. “And got Sergio arrested while not being part of his revenge plan.”
“You saw the news?”
“We never miss any updates.” Carlos replied as he took the multitool from him. “So you’re not interested in watching The Lady Ace movie like the others?”
“No.” Carl answered. “El Falcon is the only super hero I idolize. I didn’t even talk to her at the convention.”
As they entered back inside their apartment, Carlos locked the door. “Fair enough, not everyone can love a famous celebrity.”
“But it does feel weird whenever you do good for others.” Frida smiled as she and Carl sat by the kitchen table. “And since Sergio is gone for real, you definitely gonna have to make new friends at school.”
“Like Ronnie Anne herself.”
“You’ve told me that so many times, I wished I should've accepted it right away.” Carl said.
“Hey, time is always important when you need it for your mind.” Carlos leaned close to his son. “Like what Lincoln’s doing right now.”
“He’s also gonna be spending the whole day here tomorrow.” Frida added. “Mostly to spend time with Ronnie Anne since she really needs it.”
Carl wanted to take a break from all the chaos today but with Lincoln staying over throughout tomorrow, he had little idea what he and he can do together. “Me and Lincoln aren’t the friends together type.”
“In your language, yes but real language, he is friends with a friend.” Carlos said.
“Like Ronnie Anne herself.” Frida replied. “Would it hurt you to spend at least half an hour with him?”
“It’s not that I still hate him for ruining Christmas, it’s just I don’t like him.” Carl confessed. “I’m not even friends with most of his sisters.”
“But you did have a crush on Lori.” Frida crossed her arms. “Don’t act like it didn’t happen.”
“She was new to me at the time! Don’t judge me!”
The apartment door was being knocked on, catching the attention from Carlos as he answered it. Upon opening it, it is revealed to be Rosa and Becca. “Becca, Mom.” He smiled.
“I just came back after taking care of the Alley Cats.” Becca answered. “I’m getting tired, I only came to let you know everything worked out.”
“That’s good. They haven’t even announced the aftermath of the convention yet. Hopefully tomorrow.”
“As for Sergio.” Rosa crossed her arms with anger in her mind. “He’s never welcome to our familia ever again.”
“You knew he escaped out of my apartment?”
“Yes but we did agree to keep Lincoln’s Christmas gift in your apartment, so we should’ve kept it in my apartment.”
“You needed a break from taking care of him so…” Carlos placed his hand on his head. “...taking bullets is really all we can do dealing with him.”
“But now, he’s history.” Rosa smiled again. “For Ronnie Anne’s friend, he’s lucky enough no one’s gonna hate him.”
“You’re still disappointed that we’re not gonna have the meeting tonight?”
“No, and I’m not sure doing it tomorrow would help.”
“Well if he’s spending the day outside, I wouldn’t mind seeing him if he comes to the zoo.” Becca commented. “It could help sparing the meeting itself.”
“You sure it’ll work out for ya?” Carlos wondered.
“It could be for you.” Becca yawned. “And I really need my energy to get back to work tomorrow.” As she headed to her apartment, Rosa then came up with an idea.
“That could work.” Rosa said.
“Then you should give him a great breakfast in the morning.”
“And dinner.” Rosa turned around, heading towards her apartment door. Upon opening it. She turned back to her son. “Just hope he never gets another panic attack.”
“It's slow progress that’ll be worth it towards the end.”
“If he can give the family holiday and the end of the year a chance.” Rosa entered inside her apartment, closing her door while Carlos closed his door.
“She’s not wrong.”
“After seeing Lincoln on TV, she can’t be more right than that.” Frida replied.
“So both of you are gonna give Lincoln one activity while talking out his problems?” Carl guessed.
“Nothing wrong with that.” Frida got up from her seat by the kitchen table. “I don’t know him that much but I do believe he didn’t mean to ruin Christmas.”
“Especially him doing it.” Carlos said. “All that matters is that we need to give him more confidence in the public. He still hasn’t come back to school yet.”
“Unlike you, your brother and your cousins.” As Carlos and Frida headed to their bedroom, Carl remained seated by the kitchen table. He did feel tired but not as much as his parents. Now that Sergio’s gone, he feels lonely but knew it was for the best. For Lincoln to him, he doubts he’ll have an activity for them to do together.
“If only I can relate to Lola about what she feels doing activities with her brother.” He said. “Before Christmas, of course.”
In the theater of Great Lakes City, Lincoln and his group arrived with Lincoln and Clyde wearing their Ace Savvy and One-Eyed Jack costumes. As most of the group headed to the theater to watch the movie, Lincoln looked at his outfit.
“You couldn’t believe we’re finally wearing these again?” Clyde asked. “It does take us back, don’t they?”
“Yeah, I just.” Lincoln felt her mask on his face. “I feel like this isn’t real.”
“You’re not at the hospital anymore.” Kara smiled. “For once, magic-”
“Christmas magic to be exact.” Liam added. “Helped you.”
“Even if it wasn’t from Santa towards you, it still came from magic.” Sid added. “I’m sure he’s watching you right now, thankful you’re alive.” Ronnie Anne added. “It’s still not too late to skip this year’s Christmas.”
“I’m still not ready though.” Lincoln answered. “And Christmas was a few months ago. I still have a lot of time.”
“I’m just trying to be positive, I still love Christmas like all of us.”
“Yeah but…” He then took a deep breath while still keeping everything good. “...most of us still love Christmas.”
“Lincoln.” Lori called, getting her brother’s attention. “We should go, the movie’s about to start.” Lincoln and the rest of their friends followed Lori into the hallways. “Lady Ace told me she’s waiting in the theater.” They walked down to the entrance to the theater with their siblings and friends heading in. “Is it weird that I’m looking forward to seeing this movie?”
“What makes you think that?” Lincoln wondered.
“After Lady Ace talked to me before leaving the hospital, she literally said it’s as inspirational as us, The Full Deck.”
“As long as she acknowledges the creator.”
“She knows.” She then turned to him. “And we’re acknowledging that as well.”
“If she wants to do a fan movie,” Clyde commented. “Would you and your sisters offer to join?”
“With a celebrity like her. It’ll make us Lady Ace fans way more. And from her story alone…it shows fame and fortune isn’t worth it. It does make life easier for wealth, but I still wouldn’t enjoy it.”
“Yeah, big time.” Lincoln replied as they entered the theater with the lights still on. They saw Lady Ace standing in front of the screen, smiling as they took their seat. With everyone arriving at the theater, Lady Ace began her speech.
“I’m more than happy that I get to see my movie one more time in theaters with a crowd I’ve watched with from time to time.” Lady Ace said. “It may not be big but crowds get smaller the longer movies stay in theaters.” As she watched everyone in their seats, her attention was still on Lincoln himself. “What you’re still giving me is the experience of my cinematic accomplishment. Cheering at the moments I worked so hard and passionate about it.”
“The point of enjoying being inside a theater watching a movie for the first time.” Ronnie Anne commented.
“And so, it’s time to begin my film, The Legendary Lady Ace.” As the lights turned off, the projector turned on. Lady Ace walked up to the seat that’s open, next to Lincoln as she sat down. “You look good in an Ace Savvy outfit.”
“Thanks.” Lincoln smiled. “But if I was a fan when this movie came out, people would tell me that.”
“It’s not the end of the world, better late than never when those people are like me.”
“What do you think of my One-Eyed Jack outfit?” Clyde asked.
“Looks good too. It does feel like you're his sidekick, but cuter.”
“No Ace Savvy fan would call me that.” Clyde blushed.
“From a Lady Ace fan however, you'll see how they feel.”
“Yeah…and we’re gonna become Lady Ace fans.” Lincoln replied.
This made Lady Ace amused as she wrapped her arm around Lincoln, catching him off guard. “One thing I love about new fans, they always have a taste of expectations.” She then looked at him. “Would love to see it from you.”
“I’ll give you my opinion of it after the movie.” He giggled.
“Thanks Lincoln.” As the opening began, everyone remained quiet as they all paid attention to the screen. When the logo of The Legendary Lady Ace logo came up, the movie officially began afterwards. As Lincoln watched the film for the first time, Lady Ace kept him company, preventing his heart from speeding up as it got the attention from his sisters.
“She has something that calms him down.” Lana whispered.
“Weird but interesting.” Lisa added.
“Are we having the same idea?” Leni added.
“I think so sis.” Luna smiled, liking Lincoln lying his head on Lady Ace’s body. As he sighed calmly, it made Lady Ace happy.
“Feels better, doesn't it?” Lady Ace asked.
“More than I thought.” Lincoln replied.
“Just say when you had enough.”
“It’s gonna take awhile. A long while.”

A "shocking" and fun Christmas gift I made for @raisha-gs, his OC Amanda Bright is a thing of beauty and I couldn't resist drawing her, and dressed as Kay from Girls und Panzer too (should probably watch that sometime)! I also wanted to try an attempt at the Puyo Puyo style, it's just too vibrant and eyecatching for me not to try it...also very simplistic 😆
"The Hero and the Chief"
I wanted to do this small art bit as a birthday gift for @raisha-gs. I haven't drew my Lady Ace AU Loudsona for a while, so I gave it a shot to picture myself as a warrior with a purpose.
