I haven't watched Record of Ragnorak yet so I have not read any of your reviews just in case there's any spoilers, but what's your opinion on the animation, like I heard that people are saying the animation is bad but I am not sure if it's as bad as they say it is
Okay so I am just going to say it is not AS awful as people say. I think it is something that could use work in some places, but it does improve later on. The animation tries to go for some stylized cuts on things which often does less than more.. But I think the spectacle is captured pretty well.
I do wish that a better studio was animating it, but the dub is pretty good, and when it looks good, it looks really good.
The problem is that the manga is SUPER Stylized. Which while great for the manga makes it VERY difficult to properly convey in animation. And since this is a Netflix adaptation, the money for high end is not exactly what you will get. But I think they did get most of the character models well, except Aphrodite... she looks so dumb.
So I say keep your standards reasonable, but don't let the animation be the sole reason on why you watch it.
Record of Ragnarok's main pull is the spectacle.
