RECOMMENDING A VOCALOID SONG EVERY DAY IN JULY

day 11-Insomnia

Have you heard of a conlang? I hadn’t until recently. It short for constructed language and is basically just that-a made up language. It’s a relative common concept within the VOCALOID community, such as here, in insomnia.

this is basically an opera-style song with a bunch of SynthVs singing in a fake language (there are Japanese lyrics) with some admittedly gorgeous art. I honestly don’t interact with SynthV much, I’m more into voicevox, but it’s a program that can produce some absolutely beautiful vocals, especially in a song like this. The main vocalist is galenaia, I’ve never heard of her but she sounds great here. The backing vocals are being sung by Ryo, Feng Yi, and Solaria which kinda makes it all sound like a beautiful choir whilst Galenaia sings her heart out. This is one of those songs you can clearly tell had so much work put into it and the results definitely speak for themselves. The MV art by youmu869 is SO PRETTY OMG I LOVE IT. This song makes me feel like I’m being sung to by actual goddesses and that’s the coolest thing I’ve heard in a while. Absolutely ethereal and 100% worth your time. Imma be so fr, this is one of those songs I found while randomizing VLW until I find something that’s worth listening to. I totally recommend that tactic, I’ve found a lot of very underrated songs by doing that.

I absolutely LOVE Galenaia and I wish she was used more, but I understand her voice type isn't what a lot of vocaPs want/need... Still, Ive seen some incredible stuff with her and wish she was more popular
