Summary: Gale and Halsin struggle to keeps their hands to themselves while the leader of their party questions the actions of their own.

“You mustn’t tease me out there like that.” The wizard asserts with half hearted indignation as the door of the storage tent's entrance swings behind them.
“Tease you? I only recall reciting the lyrics of the esteemed bards Helena of Connelle and The Dean of Martiné”
“Oh, that’s all? Just a simple sing-song was it?”
Halsin holds both his hands to his heart in mock offense, all the less convincing as he struggles to keep in good-natured, near-giddy chortles. It makes it awfully difficult to pretend to be annoyed with him.
“Are you accusing me of having ulterior motives?”
“You didn’t want a kiss with your eggs?” Gale cocks an eyebrow, finally allowing his own teasing little retorting smirk to show
“Now, don’t put words in my mouth.” Halsin’s eyes flicker with excitement, his voice deepening to a low purr as he takes a step toward him, “I’d be partial to a kiss without the eggs, too.”
