I know some of my mutuals are in my general area, so I figured I might as well throw this out there.
I'm in a thing! It's an Elizabethan comedy, I promise it is genuinely funny, and the themes are very familiar even now.
The bar will also be open, so you can grab drinks before, at the interval, and after, and I do believe my costume shoes have laces, so you might even be able to ID me by the ancient codes 🤣.
So if you're in Glasgow around the 15th, 16th, and 17th of June and looking for a way to pass the evening, I can very much recommend this!

Galatea and Phillida
This is a painting I did a few years ago inspired by the characters from John Lyly’s play Galatea (Or Gallathea, depending on the copy of the script).

EUROTA I confess that I am in love, and yet swear that I know not what it is. I feel my thoughts unknit, mine eyes unstayed, my heart I know not how affected or infected, my sleeps broken and full of dreams, my wakeness sad and full of sighs, myself in all things unlike myself. If this be love, I would it had never been devised.
