Gallow Green NYC
On the rooftop of the McKittrick Hotel in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood, there’s a secret garden hideaway called Gallow Green where theatergoers and others can gather preshow for food and drink as the city bustles below. The hotel itself is home to the long-running Sleep No More, an experiential retelling of Macbeth, as well as a variety of cabaret shows and live concerts. But once a year the rooftop undergoes a magical transformation: Every December, the gathering space reopens as a Scottish Highland mountainside bothy, or cabin, surrounded by a forest of live pine trees. Inside are rustic wooden walls, a cozy fireplace, shelves of books, bunk beds to curl up on, and dried herbs hanging from the ceiling. You can order comfort food, pizza, spiced hot cider, mulled wine—and then step outside to breathe in the cool air and the pine and perhaps even spy a crumbling Scottish castle in the distance.
Make reservations and/or find additional information at mckittrickhotel.com/gallow-green or by calling 212-564-1662.

Hi !! Just got back from the Gallow Green and spent almost 45 minutes with Anabella... Who is she ... She gave me herbs, a potion and special black rock ... The potion smells exactly like the hotel... Is she part of something special ?
Annabella is a character who has graced the McKittrick Hotel off and on for many years. She was the original fortune teller in the Manderley, and is played by Ava Lee Scott. I’m so glad she has returned! And I’m intrigued that she is up on Gallow Green. I haven’t heard of any characters living up there in several years.

Annabella working her magic, healing souls
Last night I finally got to visit Annabella again. The experience was amazing as always. The reading was spot on, and everything I needed. I was also gifted with a powerful potion, and other things for cleansing, protection and good luck. I felt so enlightened and spiritually recharged. I don’t know her schedule exactly but I believe she is up at the Gallow Green every Friday and Saturday night. 10/10 I would recommend to visit Annabella!
Happy 8th Birthday Sleep No More NYC! I owe so much to this beautiful piece, and there isn't a day that goes by where I don't think about the show. The Mckittrick is a place I go to relax, to escape, to think, to be someone else, to dream, and to discover. It truly is my therapy playground and has inspired me in the creation of my own work. Thank you to all the amazing artists who come together every night to make magic happen at the Mckittrick, none of it would be possible without your incredible talent and dedication. Long may you reign Sleep No More!
