            grace  really  liked  jill, she  was  a  badass  lady  and  had  been  part  of  the  team  that  had  saved  her  life  by  getting  her  and  leon  out  of  that  whole  in  the  ground  caused  by  the  facilities  crumbling  and  falling  apart.  the  older brunette  had  a  no-nonsense  vibe  to  her  while  also  remaining  compassionate  and  it  reassured  her  as  much  as  it  made  her  anxious.  she  was  someone  grace  looked  up  to,  and  wanted  to  impress  in  a  way.  but  alas,  it  seemed  she  could  do  nothing  but  make  a  fool  of  herself.

they  had  become  friends  of  sorts.  going  out  to  catch  up  over  coffee,  taking  walks,  even  some  training.  but  the  other  woman  had  quickly  picked  up  on  grace's  crush  on  a  certain  DSO  agent  and  seemed  determined  to  make  fun  of  her  for  it,  even  in  subtle  ways…  like  encouraging  her  to  try  and  ask  leon  on  a  date. 

which  had  failed  miserably  when  leon  agreed,  only  to  make  sure  emily  came  along  too  -  which  grace  wouldn't  normally  mind,  but  bringing  her  kid  with  her  to  what  she  had  hoped  would  be  a  date…  well.

she  couldn't  tell  if  the  man  was  purposely  being  dense  or  if  he  really  didn't  realize  grace  had  asked  him  out.  she  had  asked  him  to  the  movies  and  then  maybe  a  drink  after.  but  he  seemed  to  think  she  had  meant  thre  three  of  them,  and  then  a  coffee  at  her  house  or  something.  she  groaned  retelling  the  story  to  jill  -  the  day  had  been  fun,  but  not  quite  what  she  had  hoped  for.

@galp4lentine from here Her breaths are too quick, each one causing another wave of pain as her ribs are shifted from the effort. It's only when Rebecca's vision begins to blur around the edges that she realizes that she's hyperventilating. Desperately, she tries to slow her breathing, tries to focus on what she can see and feel. Jill's apartment is around her, the sounds of downtown in the distance, the feel of the sheets of Jill's bed-

But it's Jill's voice and her hand being gently taken that truly start to pull her back to reality. Those two nights are behind her, she's alive, Billy is alive out there somewhere because of her and her report- but she's the only one of Bravo alive. How is she the only one of them alive?

"I-" Rebecca starts, swallowing hard. "I was on the train, the one I told you all about." She'd given details of the gist of her night prior to the Spencer Mansion, hiding Billy Coen from her explanation and focusing more on what she'd found about Umbrella.

Claire weighs up the options. Steak? Too fancy, one serve left, can't thieve that. Old rice? Maybe, if things are that desperate. Questionable breaded chicken that passes the sniff test? "Bingo." She grabs the sad brown takeaway box of another nights dinner scraps and shoves it in the microwave.

She busies herself with finding a pen. Can't leave without a small thankyou note, it's law. The microwave beeps out behind her as she slaps the post-it to the counter. Retrieving her prize, she gives one more cautionary sniff. "... mh. Seems fine..."

The rock hard cauliflower is batted away with her fork. Mashed potato is haphazardly spread over the chicken to give the illusion of not being dried out from too long in the fridge and too long being blasted. She's about halfway through her gourmet dining experience when the distinct sound of a doorknob being jiggled alerts her.

It's unlocked. Claire pauses. "I'm a thief you know!" She calls, waiting for them to enter their own home. "... First time I've been caught in the act. Kinda feels like I need to slink out."

Ever since things had started calming down after safely returning from ARK, there was a thought sitting in the back of her mind. Taking the time to put into perspective of the entire ordeal that those 48 hours had on her. An emotional roller coaster indeed.

Grace had practically no experience on dealing with these monsters that were made to be weapons. Doesn't matter if that wasn't on the table when it was first assigned to her. It'll take time for biological weapons to truly become unviable with the release of Elpis.

She has to be prepared for when the next possible encounter with one. For both herself and her daughter.

After inquiring Leon and displaying interest about this, Grace had been given the connection of someone who had also been fighting against these things for an equal amount of time. Thinking that this person might be a good place to start.

When she arrived, Grace looked down at the name written down for her. Along with a brief description of what she looked like. Upon finding the woman that she was meant to find, Grace nervously but with conviction approached.

"You're...You're Jill right? Jill Valentine?"

The guilt had been gnawing at him for hours and hours.

His return to the BSAA offices had been sluggish and full of a shame he tried to swallow down, but every time he closed his eyes he saw Piers' face. But Chris couldn't allow himself to sink into the pit of despair that he had after his injury—not after Piers had dragged him out of his selfish, self-destructive spiral kicking and screaming. And especially not after he'd died to save Chris' life.

But there was another shame that gnawed at him too—another face that swam in his vision, another person that had sacrificed herself to save him. And he hadn't spoken to Jill since before he'd left on the mission that had taken far longer than anyone had expected it to. The very least Chris could have done was to be there for her, and he hadn't even been able to manage that. Everyone expected Chris Redfield to have all the answers, to be the one that stood strong despite the world falling apart around him, and it was the thing he'd been struggling to do the most.

So as soon as he'd finished filing the fucking reports, sending word to the Nivans family about what had become of Piers, he found himself on Jill's doorstep.

He hadn't even known they'd finally allowed her to get her own place until he pulled up her employee file and checked to see where she was. His own life had been put on hold after he'd gone missing for six months and he had a lot of people he would need to answer to in the coming days, but he owed it to Jill to talk to her. Even if his explanation wasn't good enough for abandoning her when she'd needed it most, she deserved to know the truth and he wasn't sure what all they'd even told her, if anything. He hoped she didn't think he'd just disappeared for the last yea without telling her anything.

His arm raised up to knock on her door but he hesitated for a long time, not sure what the hell he was going to say to her. Would she even be home, or would she be too tired to have a visitor at this hour? It was so dark and his internal clock was so jumbled because of time zones and exhaustion that it took him several long seconds to consider that it could be anywhere between late evening and pre-dawn. He hadn't even gone home yet, a selfish part of him not wanting to be alone with his thoughts at his own apartment. Not yet.

So he wrapped on the door with his knuckles a few times and waited, stepping back so that she could easily see him through her peephole if she decided to look through it. He wore some basic clothes he'd grabbed after a long shower at BSAA HQ as soon as he'd returned—a simple pair of grey sweatpants and a black t-shirt, both emblazoned with the BSAA logo. A voice in his head told him that it was Jill, and she'd seen him looking far worse—at least he hadn't shown up in his bloodied, grimy clothes he'd worn on the plane ride back.

"No, Puck I am not giving you access codes to the BSAA SAM system, just transform if you want to wreck havoc." What had gotten into her boyfriend THIS time?

“ Oh... So, you hate me... ? You hate your sweet, innocent girlfriend who has never done anything wrong in his life, ever ? ”

No one wants her to play & have fun anymore... Sad!

Rain should have the power to wash the stain of blood from someone’s soul, the sin’s of one’s past to create a new fresh beginning. Ada knew better, even if the blood that decorated the streets in China wasn’t by her own hands. She felt like she was partly responsible, she should have known what Simmon’s had planned. After all she knew who the man really was underneath the mask he wore.

Nobody ever suspects to have their own face stolen, not even in a world with bioterrorism and mutations most think only exist in their nightmares. It was by her hands that China fell to Simmons, even if she wasn’t the one steering the body. The aftermath found Ada lost in a sense of who she was,what did she even want in this world?

She couldn’t walk away, not with the crimes that now rested on her own head. She knew she could have easily cleared her own name, she gave Leon the information for his records to be cleared alongside Helena. Even if she didn’t hand it over to him after leaving him in smoke and ruins without answers. She had other access, other connections who could have wiped her clean.

She didn’t deserve any of it.

Ada stood beneath the fractured skeleton of what was once a subway entrance. It had long been torn apart and sealed off to prevent the homeless population from inhabiting it. She leaned against the black loosened railing letting the rain beat down upon herself. Her ribs aching with the mission she had barely escaped. When had she become so reckless? It was as if she had a death wish. Maybe she did.

She heard hurried footsteps trailing from behind her, a grin curved on rose stained lips. Amber gems lifting she adjusted herself weight resting on one hip with a leg pointed out. “You? Valentine…” She hummed mockingly as she crossed her arms against her ribcage. “You’ve been tracking me, against regulations.” She looked away as if dismissing her as a threat. “You’re too late, I already retrieved the sample, and demolished the facility on my way out.” She almost taunted holding up a vial with a lime green substance. “It’s generic T-virus they intended on spreading. I’ll keep ahold of it though.”

Just like that, the mask Ada wore so well returned.
