“Let’s have some fun with it.”

A soft hum left his lips before they twisted up into a it of a lopsided grin. ‘’I like how you refer to getting your ass kicked as fun.’’ Matt spoke as he held his staff in hand. 

They had found themselves in the rare situation of having a day off and Matt had wanted to get some training in (totally not so he could gawk at the training bot and admire the craftsmanship) so when Keith asked if he could join it was quite an easy yes. Matt enjoyed company and to be fair he was also a little unsure what level the bot would be at. Or how to control the system. 

Knowing himself and the kind of luck he usually had he’d at least end up in a healing pod for half a day if he tried it by himself.

              “are you friggin’ crazy?!” hands shot up in the air, complete & utter exasperation settled on lance’s face. “no, nuh-uh, absolutely-freaking-not! the others will agree with me too! you can’t just — go off on your own! what if something happens — again — & none of us can get to you in time? that’s a hostile planet, keith!”

shiro’s tone is gentle  ,  concern taking over his expression.  he hated this  ,  the distance between him  &  his friends  ,  the people he cared about.  it was a wall he never seemed to be able to climb  ,  nor was it one he could ever break through.  he wanted to  ,  he did.  but he never quite knew how  ,  he wasn’t ever sure how to approach them.  it seemed he always struggled with  keith  most of all.  how much he’d changed in the time shiro was gone  ,  &  not all it seemed for the better.  closing his eyes  ,  he places a hand on the other’s shoulder  ,  squeezing it gently with a smile that seems much too old to be his  ,  much too bittersweet. 

‘ talk to me, keith.  as much as i wish i could read your mind, i can’t.  but i am here, and i want to help. ’

    “You mean making good food goop? Yeah I actually agree.”

“It has this..... cinamony taste?” Hunk pondered, “Did you put milk in it too? Nice touch. I think? If he had to guess, Keith threw everything at once to make it stick and it worked out in his favor.
