Hey, game. You loaded? That’s good. How’s it going? You wanna be played...well...I’m working on it. This is just a test, just to see how you doing.
Very soon, though, I’ll play the shit out of you.

Creators, name your make-up something with YOUR name on it. Name it what it is: blush, lips, face-paint, etc. Name it with NO spaces. Name it something other than a song title that has nothing to do with what it is!
In related news, I finished renaming and organizing all the cosmetics in my game. The amount of items without a creator name either in tool-tip or on the item is astounding. Blush tears...from who you ask? Who knows. “Have the time of your life” item...what is it? Who knows, but it is evidently the time of our life.

For science. Right now.
This was without organizing the clothes and objects.
The neighborhood I loaded was Misplaced Stream where AU’s story takes place. I decided to test it because it has the most CC and sims. I noticed that the actual neighborhood, just panning around, ran much smoother. Usually it lags and is super chopping, but smooth like butter this time.
It makes me hopeful. Buy and CAS did stutter a bit, but I’ve renamed and deleted stuff so I imagine it had to refresh itself.
Still got a lot to sift through. Got to part ways with medieval stuff in my main game. Got to make critical decisions about clothes and objects. To redownload or to sift. Objects have been for the most part sorted (there’s still some renaming and organizing), but that does not include any of the recolors, which I haven’t even touched yet.
So @celebkiriedhel said we can only go three deep with folders before slow down so I do want to still separate by creator in sub-folders. So I decided to do away with the main folders and go categorical.
YO
So, I am down to clothes and objects. I actually started the day going through my objects, but then got frustrated, took a break, and started on hair. Hair is done, though not exactly how I wanted it. I have mine and Jewels hairs in the game and I’ll bundle those eventually. I matched meshes with them because I do/did have meshes for both clothes and hair separated from their textures. Now I still have a bunch of spares that aren’t matched up and I really don’t feel like going through them right now. So they got their own cas_hair_meshes and cas_hair_textures until one day I crack down on them.
Objects...I am thinking of taking out what I separated this morning. Archive my old CC folder and start anew with objects.
Clothes...might be the same operation, but I just don’t know right now.
When I get everything situated, I might run the game before separating out my neighborhoods just to see how it handles the new CC folder scheme.
Thanks everyone for your input HERE.
I don’t think I would make a custom map (because I don’t have the program or have the know how) or ask for one to be made (thank you to those that offered). I would more than likely download one. I’m not a neighborhood modder and hardly a decorator of it at that, just that I have no experience in using a custom one.
Still not really sure if taking my pre-existing neighborhoods and separating them into their own games is safe or not? It would be hella easier to do that, but I would rather not deal with corrupted all over again. So might just start the neighborhoods over. Which sucks for Misplaced Stream since it just got right, but oh well.
I am not real concerned with S2BO’s neighborhood because it is just meetme’s neighborhoods thrown together. The other stories’ hoods are much more important to me because they are my own characters and worlds.
I might copy multiple versions of my current game, load and delete unwanted neighborhoods to separate each into their own game. I might just destroy Lushland entirely and start anew with it. I don’t know. It’s not important right now.
Lots of thinking and not much action, I know, but I want to be careful. Of course everything is backed-up and deep archived, but I’ve lost everything before and I never want to go through that again.
I have never hated hyphens so much in my life.
