The more I think about Game Switch AU, the more I realize how insane it’s going to be to interpret these characters

Original Ovenbreak’s GingerBrave (2009-2013-ish?) went into a Witch’s STOMACH and survived. The scars he’d have from acid falling onto his dough would be unlike anything the ancients have ever seen (and I doubt Pure Vanilla would be able to heal that)

The Darkest Night’s Wizard can write in witchtongue and scared off THE DARKEST LORD (the game’s main villain) with a single spell

Tower of Adventures’ Shiningberry is just Strawberry Cookie’s digital avatar, and since THAT can’t be translated, you can only imagine she keeps it and anything that implies like respawning

LINE/Kakao’s Gumball is taking on the task of painting the City of Wizards as his “canvas”. I thought about making it so he gets “translated” into a theme more fitting for the City of Wizards or just more fitting to take on that task

Crumble’s Angel. Is a mech.

Au where there were far more time shenanigans that came with Shadow Milk’s stunt and now the witch made cookies (who most are in almost all the games past and present) get switched with their versions from the rest of the franchise

Alchemist switches with Puzzle World

Vampire switches with CookieWars

Gumball switches with LINE/Kakao

Angel and Devil switch with the new versions in Crumble

GingerBrave switches with THE ORIGINAL OvenBreak

Strawberry switches with Tower of Adventures

Wizard switches with The Darkest Night

Overall, this wasn’t meant to happen, but Timekeeper managed to pull enough strings so that the ones sent were the supposed “best” options for the fight. These cookies, however, have a few different ideas

Ok back to game switch au

Some aspects of the cookies being switched are translated to the next best thing within Kingdom’s timeline. This is most prominent with the Puzzle World switch

Puzzle World has its own Fount of Knowledge, that being Alchemist. In her timeline, this means nothing outside of a title, but in a timeline where there’s already a preexisting Fount-

She gets translated into a version of Kingdom’s Fount of Knowledge

This, however, is not the same for cookies with details that can’t be translated. In fact, these differences become more prominent

So for Vampire, who comes from CookieWars, this means marks that were originally not as visible are very much there

Since Witch’s Castle takes place before Kingdom (more or less), maybe WC!Devil only recently had their accident and therefore still acts a bit more like how an angel cookie should instead and has a little strand of burnt gold hair to show that
