“In this goofy point-and-click adventure, determine how much shampoo is needed for each character! Too much shampoo will bubble up and clog the bathroom, and too little will leave them feeling dirty and thinking of calling out of work that day. Wait, is that a terrible thing? Master the art of shampoo with over 50 different characters! Each has their own hair needs and will require different techniques. All that practice will aid you when encountering Dah Bosses! Their shampoo needs are tricky, so learn well!”

THIS IS NOT A REAL GAME
But it’s been a concept I’ve been thinking about for years now. I used to rattle off random game ideas to myself while I worked. Most ideas were probably brought on my delirium states of exhaustion.
Awaiting approval ...
I dunno if this pleases cause it’s just the title but here’s CRUSH CRUSH and the sequel’s BLUSH BLUSH.
Both screen shots are from the Sad Panda Studio Games.
Mock up game title for a mock up game!
Feels good to draw again though!
I dunno why, but I always thought about how I could make a game of them, lol. (Version without text for the supporters in Patreon.)
Sometimes just asking Google for the logo of the game you’re trying to make YouTube thumbnails for is all it takes. Sometimes, though, everything it turns up is low quality, low resolution, or otherwise not good enough to use.
COULD I have used the official logo for X8 that Google found for me? Yeah. But I ALSO could have made a cleaner version that scales up or down more smoothly without getting all blurry and junk.
Also doing that second thing is more fun, and it’s good Photoshop practice in general, so why not? I tried all manner of gradient settings, but just couldn’t quite get the metallic borders to shine the way the original does. Other than that, though? Nailed it.
You may see the thumbnails I mentioned in the near future on the Gaming Wizards YouTube Channel.
