A new page in the Entity Index with blank sections for players to create their own Entity Types!

An Achievements page where players can track, you know, Achievements (ex: choosing a certain Reaction, passing a challenging Nerve Check, or identifying an Entity that's transitioning to a different Type)

Hello everyone! We are super excited to open applications for this zine starting today!  

Cosmogony: Dawn of a New Age strives to be the revised version of the beloved Cosmogony book that has taught generations of Lucians about their past. Through lovingly written stories and beautiful illustrations, this Cosmogony zine will cover the important eras of Eos’ history, from the Fall of Solheim to the Rise of the True King and The New Dawn.

ME&R ISSUE #1 - FORGOTTEN

ME&R’s first (official) issue has landed! Issue #1 is a 16 page alt/indie/art games zine. This issue is exploring the theme of ‘Forgotten’.

The issue is available on a pay what you want scheme - and can be downloaded for free if you’re unable or unsure about donating. If you can make a donation for your download, funds are used to cover the admin costs for keeping ME&R runing!

This issue will also be available within the next issue of five out of ten magazine, if you’d prefer all of your independent games related reading to come bundled together!

ME&R ISSUE #0 - TRAVELLING

The first issue of ME&R, an alt/indie/art games zine exploring the theme of 'Travelling'. This issue is the first for ME&R, and as such is a shorter prototype for future issues.

As the last days of work are going into Issue #1 of ME&R, it feels like a good time to remind you that the pre-first issue is available for download! Any payment for gumroad downloads goes into the admin costs of ME&R (currently paid almost entirely from my personal funds) and allows the zine to keep running!

If you’d like to contribute more to the contributors, consider pledging on patreon! 90% of the patreon proceeds go to paying contributors for their work, with the last 10% going to admin fees.

Call For Submissions: Issue #1 - FORGOTTEN

Lots of things are forgotten in games. Characters with missing pasts, ancient civilizations. Designers and developers fallen into obscurity. Old save files, that name of your favourite game from your childhood. Where your box of old gameboy cartridges went to.

Whatever Forgotten means to you, ME&R has a place for it. As long as your interpretation features the world of games in some capacity, and feels in line with our ethos. You may submit anything from fan art to poetry, however your story is best told.

Deadline for initial submission pitches is February 23rd

Pieces do not have to be finished - please feel free to simply email your initial concept for feedback: a rough outline and estimated word count for written pieces, and either a description and art style sample or a rough sketch for art pieces

You may submit previously created work you own the rights to if it fits the theme

Artwork or short written pieces can be submitted as scanned images (please submit all written pieces digitally initially for editing purposes)

Submissions must be completed by March 15th if accepted.

All contributors are paid for the work via paypal

Work can be credited to a real name, pen names or anonymously, whatever you feel comfortable with
