I've had the chance to play GAMERA 2000 with SuperGodzillaGaming for his YT channel! It's a very simple (even simpler when 2P) control set up, solid graphics (for PSX), and... Well, the cutscenes are something else.
DAY 1061) Gamera 2000 - The Promise ~ to be born again and see you...

Not sure how I hadn’t discovered how full of cool stuff this soundtrack is earlier. Someone pointed it out in a server I lurk on, I heard this one and instantly fell in love! Amazing new discovery that I somehow missed in Zuntata’s catalogue (though mostly in the ‘weird 90s experimental techno’ category, not necessarily odd time stuff I’d be posting on here).
The timesig changes here are back and forth between 16 bars of 9/8 and 6 bars of 6/4 (or more formally 12/8) the whole way through. It still keeps that same timesig structure uninterrupted even when more layers get added in later repetitions and stuff.
All the 9/8 stuff is very jumpy feeling segmented 5+4, can easily imagine it being counted as alternating 5/8+4/8 because of that, especially with how distinctly separated those parts of the bar feel with the chord change hit timing.
