Made using the highest quality materials and tested for durability, there is no question that the Carrom Aegean Fresco 55 in. Foosball Table is built to last a long time, if not for a lifetime.
What better way to ensure a table’s longevity than a durability test before it is put on the market, right?
It is built on the heavy side, so it can withstand rough and rowdy gameplay. Transporting it, however, can be a bit of a challenge, especially if the table is going to be set at the upper levels of a house or man cave.
Other than the logistical problem, heavy and sturdy are actually great characteristics. Just make sure not to set it on a carpet or cause gouges and dents.
The table is made with Agean Green melamine cabinet, measuring 1-inch thick, which is a great improvement from other foosball tables that only have a 3/8-inch thick cabinet.
Fully assembled, it measures 50.3 x 36 x 55 inches. Weighing inat 156 pounds, it will take a lot of rough shoving, pushing and pulling to move the table an inch from its place. This means you don't have to worry when gameplay becomes rowdy.
The screen printed graphics playing surface measures 0.375-inch thick and is made of enamel. The protective coating ensures the surface area would last many a hard-fought matches.
The rods are made of hollow steel, and are fitted with cushioned rubber handles. They are also triple chrome-plated for longevity and durability.
The length of the table is made of heavy metal full black vinyl with black boots, which offers better support and stability. Durability is further increased with the use of precision-molded rod bearings and a high-impact plastic ball return.
The players are made of study material, and are custom hand-painted to make them look realistic.
The Carrom Aegean Fresco 55 in. Foosball Table allows for a terrific gameplay, combining quality with functionality. Rubber handles of the hollow steel rods offers precise player control, making it easier to hit the ball until it reaches the goal.
It also helps that the soccer figures have ball-control feet for easy navigation. No need to use the front and back of the feet to get the ball moving.
The Foosball table allows for a one-goalie or three-goalie play. Between the two, setting up the single goalie was reportedly a lot more challenging. This is because you need to slide two stop rings on each of the goalie posts, which can be quite difficult.
One downside is that the ball return is installed at the end of the table, which means the ball can pop out at any time during the gameplay. But nothing like a good control can’t help. There are also reported dead spots, but some customers claim the corner ramps clear the issue easily.
The Agean Green melamine finish of the cabinet gives it that outdoor look and feel, especially because it has almost the same color as the grass or turf in an actual soccer arena. It runs the risk of being mistaken as a pool table, however. The screen printed graphics on the enamel playing surface adds a realistic touch.
The dimensions of the table would consume a significant amount of space, taking into consideration room for the players on all four sides. The Carrom Aegean Fresco 55 in. Foosball Table may not be suitable in areas with a limited space.
This is not suitable for children aged three years and under, because of small parts, including marbles and a small ball. Children aged 12 years and above can use this Carrom foosball table without a problem, and intermediate and advanced players would love using it too.
Apart from difficulty in putting the table together, the Carrom Aegean Fresco 55 in. foosball Table will provide the fun and entertainment it’s supposed to bring to the entire gang.
