Cooking Headcanon:

Cooking was something that always interested L, due to the amount of sweet treats he could have made, but, after nearly destroying the kitchen while attempting to make a cake, he realised it was probably something best left to Watari.

Childhood Headcanon:

While in the orphanages L watched other orphans be adopted and taken away to live a happy life. Upon realising that his lack of social skills and preference to stay in solitude meant no-one wanted to adopt him he formed the idea that he would never have a happy or enjoyable life as a normal person. This made him devote his time to his studies.

Dear Fangirls (you know who you are);

While I am incredibly flattered that you all appear to deem me worthy of you affections and adoration I would just like to request that none of you kill each other for my sake. Murder is a great turn off that might be a slight lie nobody has actually ever attempted it for my love and you would not be able to marry me as you would be in prison. 

I love you all very much, I really do, however I do not desire to marry you as I am currently in education, I have a feeling some of you are too young and you all live so very far away. While you are all very adorable I must say I worry for my safety and I may have to build myself a pillow fort to live in.

Having heard the familiar buzzing sound indicating that someone had been allowed into the building, L rose from his chair and watched the door, awaiting for the newcomer to reveal themselves. However, when they did, L was more than a little surprised.
